Cybersmart - Altered Images

Cybersmart - Is Seeing, Believing?(Part 2)
IALT: Identify what photos or videos that can be altered/edited/changed.

I created this image because I belive that it relates to cybersmarts in many different ways. To me this image is about being careful with who you talk to because you never know what they are capable of. If you get a message from a random person I suggest you ignore it because it could possibly be a scam or someone dangerous. Here is the finished image:

Here is my other altered image, at first this was just a simple plain lemon that had been altered, for this task we were told to alter it again so I wasnt so sure what to do so I got some ideas from other classmates and try to use their idea to combine or mix it up in a way and come up with my own altered lemon.

Now looking at it I wasnt so sure what I was trying to do, my goal right here was just trying to achieve altering this lemon.

Kia Ora and greetings to you all. With in today's blog I will be sharing what both classes room 9 and 10 have done for Cybersmart during the past week. For last week's Cybersmart lesson we were given a presentation to complete titled, "Is Seeing, Believeing?" In each slide we had to list down what things have been altered and why.

Alter - " To change the way something looks, sometimes using a computer or other digital tools."

What i've learnt while completing this presentation is that not everything that we see it true, most photos have been edited to make it more appealing. In my opinion I think that altering photos are sometimes ok just not all the time. We shouldn’t alter photos for our amusement but use it for a better purpose.

Start Of Term 4!

Start Of Term 4!
IALT: Write about my start of the Term

Kia Ora and greetings to you all. I know it may be a bit late to blog about this NOW but I have chosen to continue with this blog just to share with you all how my start of term 4 is going. As you all know this is yet the last term of the year! Which is pretty exciting, moving into College soon, becoming a year 9, making new memories as my years in College go by just as I did here at T.P.S! I was hoping that I would enjoy my last term here at T.P.S but turns out things may have changed. I can't say that im enjoying this term neither can I say that i'm not enjoying this term, all I can say is that I hope the rest of this term goes well and I hope to make as much memories as I can(especially with close friends), moving on we have not as much but many events happening this term. Recently have been training for or Touch tournament which is coming up VERY soon, next we have our Athletics day we have almost EVERY YEAR! Which is not as exciting as it may sound, you all may know who this day goes but for those who don't we basically are put into our age group and experience different skills for the 1st block, then as we move into the 2nd and last block we have the races which is terrifying! Everytime when my age group is being called up for our turn to race I get butterflies and feel as if im about to faint! So right now im not really looking forward to Athletics day, then after that we have our Interschool Athletics tournament which again is basically the same thing as Athletics day but we are gathered with many schools from around our area, it's kind of like a competition. After that we have many other events that im not so sure about but besides that I think this term will turn out great near the end of the term. That is all for this blog, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

WALHT: Cook Chicken Curry.

Talofa lava and welcome back to my blog! It's been awhile since i've blogged and now im here to share with you all yet another blog about our 6th session cooking with
Mrs Tuipulotu! To start of this blog reflection I would like to list down the process of how to cook Chicken Curry:

Step 1 - Peel and slice 5 potatoes into 4
 - Pour 2 cups of water into pot
 - Place potatoes into the pot
 - Wait til potatoes are soft

Step 2 - Slice and dice onion
 - Dice the chicken
 - Pour the onions and chicken into the pan
 - Fry until it is cooked

Step 3 - Add Spices and 1/2 cup of water into the pan
 - Add vegetables into the pan
 - Mix well

Finish - Serve Chicken Curry in a bowl/s
 - Eat!

This is the process of how to cook, well at least this is the process we used to cook Chicken Curry. Moving on, I think that during the cooking lesson we(me and my partner Grace) managed to help each other with each step althought our Chicken Curry wasnt a success I think we did well managing to follow each step. This session was one of those challenging moments but I am willing to face challenges! I hope our next session will be a success until then thank you all for reading, I hope this helped in any way!
