IALT: Blog about what back to school means
Two weeks ago at the begining of the year the Kia Manawanui Syndicate discussed what back to school meant to us all.
Within our table groups we had to discuss ' What back to school means'. We had to brainstorm in our intergrated studies book words that would describe what back to school means. To me back to school means:
- Revising back on your learning.
- Coming back to school with a growth mindset.
- Getting to know the new students/classmates that surrond you.
- Being able to contribute your ideas with the class/group.
- Continuously showing the school values.
- Being respectful to the teachers, visitors and others that you communicate or surrond yourself with.
- Being confident.
- Setting new goals for yourself.
Being back to school to me means having a growth mindset and to set new goals for yourself meaning coming back to school in a good and positive attitude, to achieve your goals throughout the year. I am really looking forward to the rest of the year with the 2019 Kia Manawanui class.
