Natural Disasters - Landslide

Natural Disasters - Landslides
WALT: Research about Natural Disasters.

Yesterday during the 3rd block I have been researching about natural disasters and so I decided to research about Landslides.
A natural disaster is a problem that is not caused by man kind but are caused at any time.

As I was searching for some answers I read that when earthquakes happen around areas with steep slopes the soil then starts to slip and so, causes a Landslide. Landslide can also be caused by a volcano eruption and heavy rain. The location where landslides usually happen is around the U.S territory.

Many times people lose homes, family members, cars, and memories.
Most people have died where as others have made it out alive. People try to gather as many things as they can but before they could leave they have already been caught by the landslide.

To me Landslides sound interesting so I then decided to research about it.
Definition for Landslides:
A landslide is a large amount of Earth or rock that collapse from a mountain or cliff.
